Today is the 10th anniversary of the formal end of the Expanded Universe following Disney’s acquisition of Lucasfilm. But the old EU did not die then: it lives on, thanks to all of you, thanks to everyone who has supported this passion project and made Age of Legends what it is today.
My vision has always been for AoL to be the most comprehensive Star Wars Expanded Universe simulator ever built (TM). And as we march towards v2.0, I can see my vision getting close with every incremental release.
I’m therefore very excited to reveal the first extended video preview of the next release, v1.34: The Galactic Overhaul Project.
This video shows off the amazing sound re-design built by Ty, featuring the superb soundtrack to the remaster of the classic game TIE Fighter, the Galactic Empire’s gigantic space roster variety, and one of the virtually infinite possible task-force combinations. It also includes some fan favourite Imperial reserve ship types!
